Derived from the natural fermentation process of yeasts and bacteria in sweetened tea, the bacteria convert sugars into an organic material: bacterial cellulose. Its appearance possesses an intriguing, otherworldly appearance that simultaneously captivates and challenges. The installation demonstrates the collaborative abilities of the symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY) and the transformative potential of bacterial cellulose. Serving as an invitation to challenge conventional perspectives on organic materials, highlighting the importance of reevaluating our relationship with materials and our understanding of waste in the context of sustainability and interconnectedness In the Kombucha industry, bacterial cellulose is a by-product, losing its value. Industrialization - which made mass production possible - has made us accustomed to having access to... pretty much everything, all the time. People have a constant need for change and innovation, which can create permanent dissatisfaction. In this project I developed prototypes of natural, reformable dinnerware made from bio-plastic material to bring more awareness on the value of domestic, everyday products and how we live with them.&nbsp;It offers the possibility of change and sustainability at the same time.&nbsp;Interaction with our products and being able to work with them, creates the opportunity to a better
